Republican Precinct Chairman

I currently serve as the Chairman of my Republican party precinct.  I help organize and conduct our biennial caucus meeting where we elect delegates to our county and state conventions.  I have also served as a delegate to both conventions where we picked party candidates to run for various elected offices.  In Utah our caucus system is how we choose who will represent the party on the ballet, often times candidates are defeated in the  convention without the "voters" every having the chance to vote on them.  So involvement in the caucus system is the best way to have the loudest voice in Utah politics.
